Earthly Matter

Meet Your Guide,

Amy Lambert

Throughout Amy's life, she has struggled with low self-esteem, confidence, and feelings of not being good enough, and less than. She was quiet, reserved, and didn't have a voice.

She was stuck in a codependency personality where other people's actions towards her would give her, through her eyes, her self-worth. She put herself in terrible situations and relationships in the process. She at one point was diagnosed with severe depression and was put on antidepressants.

In her 30's she started to turn things around. It was the beginning of her healing journey. Part of her healing was working on her mindset, beliefs, self-acceptance, and looking deep into her survival personality (which parts served her and which parts no longer served her).

She found her answers from within, accepted all of the good and bad, realizing that even if she didn't fit in, she belonged. Continuing her journey of self-healing and a wish to support others in their journey to heal, she has completed the Life Coaching Certification at the Psychospiritual Institute.

In her coaching sessions, she comes from a place of unconditional non-judgment, unconditional kindness and provides a safe space to be vulnerable, while being supportive in exploring the answers for your life. All the answers you're looking for are inside of you.

What is Psychosynthesis?

Psychosynthesis has been called “Psychology with a Soul”. It is integrative psychology combining Eastern wisdom with Western thought. Unlike some psychologies, it incorporates the Spiritual or Transpersonal Self into its view of the individual. Its aim is to hold the highest vision of human potential and awakening.

The essence of my work is to facilitate self-growth by helping you identify your core mind, body, and spirit challenges so that you can overcome them with confidence. Only then, will you be able to fully embrace who you are and start living a happier and healthier life?

Psychosynthesis starts from the foundation that we are all intrinsically healthy and whole, a core premise of Eastern Wisdom traditions. Its approach affirms the reality of the spiritual experience as an integral part of the human experience. Psychosynthesis acknowledges our individual uniqueness and our connection to the whole. Where suffering can be caused by a loss of contact with who we really are, the psychosynthesis approach seeks to restore and renew this contact.

Fundamentally, Psychosynthesis is a method of self-development that teaches how we can become healthy, well-functioning people in harmony with ourselves and the world. It dates from 1911 where it was developed by Roberto Assagioli, who was an Italian Psychiatrist. Assagioli was known to be critical of psychoanalysis as he thought it focused too much on the pathological side of the psyche and failed to focus on and strengthen what was already healthy in an individual.

Assagioli was a student of Eastern philosophy, yoga, and meditation. He created a psychology that recognized the spiritual and transpersonal dimensions, recognizing the highest part of our nature that holds the principles of love, will, wisdom and inspiration, as well as accepting the darkness and despair. In other words, psychosynthesis is psychology that focuses upon the entire human being with compassion and acceptance, necessary for healing and integration.
